Volgograd weather

The steady breeze that rolls in off the Russian steppes helps to make the summer seem more as though there is "built in" air conditioning. Volgograd is situated in a climate zone with four distinct seasons. Springtime in Volgograd has wonderful daytime temperatures with a touch of the winter chill remaining in the evening hours.
There is the good chance that travelers will experience intermittent rain from the end of March through the beginning of June. A splash of bug juice will help guest enjoy the hours after sundown throughout May. Summers are hot with some humidity. Temperatures can jump to nearly 40 degrees centigrade for short periods during mid July, but the wind helps to lower the heat index. Autumn is outstanding. The daytime and evening temperatures are quite comfortable while remaining reasonably dry from late August through October. Winters are cold, though not unbearable.
