Dnepropetrovsk- Travel

This long name of the city could seem very difficult to pronounce , Dnepropetrovsk in Russian or Dnipropetrovs'k in Ukrainian spelling. Ukrainian people call it simply Dnepr or Dnepro, the same as Americans call San-Francisco simply Frisco....The city's previous name is Ekaterinoslav ( " Named in honor of tsaress Ekaterina"), and the recent name means union of words Dnepr ( a river) and the surname of Petrovsky, a social activist of 20s years.

You can take a ship to go down Dniepr river to Zaporozhye city, which is 90 km down, to visit this cradle of Cossacks and watch the Horse Theatre, some kind of Ukrainian rodeo at Khortitsa reservation island.

As you can mention searching the hotels, the hotel prices are pretty high. The same as in as all over Ukraine and Russia is accepted they have set some difference between prices set for residents and foreigners. Last have pay more, unfortunately.
