Hello my name is Jack Bragg, proud owner of FirstDream. I started my own pursuit for a Russian bride in 1995. The adventure, education, the pursuit, will be one of the highlights of my life. I wouldn't trade what I have seen or experienced for a million dollars. Events and people whose life I touched, and those who touched mine, will be with me the rest of my life. The pursuit for a Russian bride has changed my life and I assure you will change yours. It is an unbelievable, wonderful feeling that is inside each man who has found a wonderful Russian bride. For any man who will take his time, for the man who will take this adventure and opportunity seriously, he will have a great opportunity before him to positively change his life for the better and find the type of bride he had always dreamed of. What was once a well kept secret up through the late 90's, the possibility to find such a wonderful Russian bride, is becoming more known with each passing day. The number of men who are involved with this most magnificent pursuit today is nothing compared to the number of men who will be involved in a few years from now as more and more men learn of one of the worlds greatest treasures and secret, to be able to seek and find the type woman he had first dreamed about (thus the name, FirstDream).

As I describe to you a little of our history and my experiences, I would like to also share with you some of my favorite photos that I have taken over the years, including a few of the very special ladies who have touched my life during my pursuit for a Russian dream bride. With my own search and that of helping many other men, this has been a part of my daily life for eleven years. In this time I have seen and done a lot of things and with the group of wonderful people we work with, and have for many years, I feel like we have the experience and expertise to help most men go about this pursuit effectively, efficiently and in the manner that he feels most comfortable with. As each man is different, what means and methods work for one man, may not be the best way for another.

Every man needs to realize that it will be no problem for him to marry a beautiful Russian woman. Many men could, and do, marry the first and only Russian woman they ever meet. You will not need my help, or anyone's help, for you to marry a beautiful Russian woman. But you will probably need some help in marrying the right Russian woman, the best Russian woman for you. Many men marry the first Russian woman that shows them any affection, or the first Russian woman that kiss's them, or makes love to them. "Yep! Must be Love" he thinks, "I better take her before some other guy get's to her". Men must realize that their are many wonderful, beautiful, sincere Russian women to choose from. And they must also realize that their are also many beautiful, insincere, scamming women to choose from! You must know what you are doing, or be damn lucky.

The very first Russian woman I ever met I thought I fell in love with. She agreed to marry me and as I left Moscow I thought I was going to marry Svetlana. What a lucky man I was. WOW, to find the most perfect, beautiful Russian bride on my first visit, the first Russian woman I met, I was indeed a lucky man. I thought I was in heaven. As it turned out, I was also very lucky on my first trip that I had arranged to meet a second lady in St. Petersburg, Veronica. Well wouldn't you know it, and I couldn't believe it, the second Russian woman I met, just as beautiful, and she also wanted to marry me! Ohhh man! Now I had a problem, which of these two beautiful ladies was I going to marry?

After I returned to America and my feet landed back on the ground I had time to reflect on things. I had just met two absolutely stunning beautiful women. Graceful younger women of elegance, culture and class. Both spoke good English with that sexy Russian accent. I loved everything about them. I knew after meeting these fine Russian ladies that I could never be happy with, or involved with, an American woman again. And I kept thinking how I must be the luckiest man in the world, out of millions of fine, beautiful Russian ladies, I had just met the two best ladies for me in all of Russia.......or had I? Could I have a better chemistry with someone else? Veronica after all had a child and I was not sure if I wanted a woman with a child and Svetlana wasn't really built all that well up top. Maybe I should meet a few other Russian ladies, just to make sure. Which is exactly what I proceeded to do.

When the wall first came down in 1991 the Internet did not exiest and was no help in meeting Russian women. All you had, for the most part, were some very nice, big fancy catalogs that were published by several companies. There were a lot more published catalogs in those days compared to now. Some of these agencies were very good and you could get several ladies to reply to your letters. Unfortunately most of these companies with catalogs have disappeared as the Internet began to have an effect starting about 1997. During this time (1995-2000) the big socials were at their peak. Most of us did not know what scammers, or social scammers, were. I was able to attend several of the large socials during my pursuit. I quickly learned that the big socials were not so productive, but they were fun. After my first social all the other socials I went to were only for the fun of it as I would already have several sincere ladies scheduled to see in those cities who were not part of the socials. I was amazed at how many of the same women made social after social after social and I could see how they worked. These guys never knew what hit them! In my opinion the best customer for these big social providers is the uneducated consumer. Most men who will read, educate himself as to the ways of these large socials, seeks reference's and talks to a few guys who have been to the large socials, after doing their homework will not attend these large socials. I hope you might take a few minutes and read a little about these larger socials in our Group Tours section.

Before each of my trips I would write a lot of letters. And today you men need to write a lot of letters. I had developed what I thought was a well written first letter of introduction. A man's letter of introduction is just as important today as it was in the mid-90's. I was making two trips to the FSU (former Soviet Union) a year and my year was divided into two six-months segments. This was my life for five years. I lived and breathed talking to and writing these fine Russian ladies, and reading all I could about Russian women. I had a calendar and would circle the days I was to call certain ladies every other Saturday and Sunday and which ladies to call on the other Saturdays and Sundays, so every weekend I was calling ladies. Calls were a lot more expensive then and you had best have your notepad in front of you and not forget whom you were talking to at the time. Having the internet as a tool today as lessened the need for so many telephone calls but it is still important to try to have a few phone conversations before meeting each lady.

Over the years most of my trips were from 17 to 21 days in length. My shortest length trip was 14 days and my longest length trip was 31 days. Most every trip consisted of visiting two or three cities, a few trips four cities. As my trips got more efficient I would try to see from six to eight wonderful ladies in each city that had shown a sincere interest in me, and I had sincere interest in them. You would meet all these ladies in the very first two and three days you were in there city and then you would spend a few quality days with the one or two ladies who rose to the top. Then visit the next city and repeat the process. During the 31 day, four city trip, I was able to meet 28 ladies. In addition I would try to have a stand-bye list that consisted of two or three ladies in each city and these back-up ladies would usually surface in the last month before the trip. Most the ladies I met were from buying addresses from catalogs and internet sites, running of personal ads and appearing on Russian TV. Some ladies I met were friends of ladies I had previously met and they wanted to introduce me to there friends. As well I would visit local marriage agencies in the various cities.

Men, there is no better way to see what type of lady you are truly compatible with than the opportunities that exist today in the FSU. Experiment, meet various types of women who interest you. I had always thought and dreamed of the tall, slender model type lady. Being 6 feet 3 inches tall, I thought I wanted a tall woman. I convinced myself that I wanted this type of woman as my future bride. So during my first trip of 1998 on a twenty-one day trip I saw seventeen ladies that were from 5ft 9 inches tall to 6 feet 1 inches tall. I probably wrote some sixty plus ladies during the four months leading up to the trip and was able to develop an interest in seventeen ladies that also had an interest to meet me.

During the course of this trip, after seeing several stunning, tall beauties, I realized several things. When these 6 feet tall ladies but on their high heels, they themselves are now pushing 6 ft 2 inches. After this trip I realized I preferred a woman who was shorter than 5 ft 10 inches and who was probably between 5 ft 7 to 5 ft 9 inches tall. All the ladies I saw after this trip were in this height range. Now, did I prefer blue eyes over brown eyes or green eyes, light colored hair ladies over darker haired? Quiet type over more outgoing type, with or without children? City girl over country girl, medium or large busted woman?

Men, if your not sure what type of lady you are most comfortable with, now it is possible to find out! Experiment! Date, meet the type ladies you think you have interest in. Because many Russian/Ukraine women have a genuine interest in Western men, you and I are able to see and date many more fine women from the FSU than we could American women. And once you have met and been involved with Russian women, once you have educated yourself to the ways of good Russian women, you will never be able to go back to an American woman again.

But this is not a quick fix. To do this right takes time, effort and education. If efficiently done you will have a great chance of finding a wonderful, beautiful, sensual Russian bride. Any man who will meet a lot of ladies in a short period of time and then focus his attention on the few that rose to the top that their is potential chemistry with, then it will only be a matter of time before he finds his Russian dream bride. It is to simply put it, a numbers game. Yes their are those rare lucky cases where a guy will meet and marry the only Russian woman he ever met and they live happily ever after, but this is the exception, not the norm. You are making such an important decision in your life, you owe it to yourself to be sure and I often wonder how a guy can be so sure that the only Russian woman he met was the right one for him if he never had a second, a third, a fourth Russian woman to compare her too.

The more you read about FirstDream, the more you use FirstDream, you will probably see that we are unlike any other agency. We list real references of real clients with real e-mail addresses. We are proud of what are current and past clients have to say. Why do most other agencies not do this? {because they can't} We are selective about the ladies we add to our website. We try to select ladies that are not only beautiful but we must feel they are also sincere in there desire to find a good foreign husband. We were one of the first two sites to create a special scammers section to help men spot some of the more beautiful, more successful scammers in operation. We try to protect our clients from being scammed. I despise dishonest and unethical marriage agencies, which about 65% of the foreign agencies are. When I find an honest and ethical foreign agency I want to latch on to them, to tell the world about them and I will try to send them as much business as possible to help keep these honest agencies around.

I think a man and woman need to correspond directly with each other, without a third party, without going thru an agency if possible. Hey! I'm an agency owner and I'm saying you should not have to correspond with any woman thru any agency. When going through any agency you should have the ladies home address AND phone number by the second, no later than third correspondence. If not, it's time to move on. If you think you have great interest in any woman then you need to surprise her with a delivery of flowers to her flat and you need to do this before you get to deep into the relationship. You should make sure she is real and the information she has told you is correct. Today, 40% of the time when we deliver a letter, flowers or candy to a lady, we find out the address is bad, she does not live there, she is not the lady whose photo she has sent, she lives with a boyfriend or husband, or she is a he!

Today I am in the same situation as many of you, trying to find reasonably priced nice flats in the center of Kiev or Moscow or Odessa, St. Petersburg, Dnepropetrovsk, Volgograd, Lugansk. Arranging to have someone reliable to greet me at the airport or train station and to escort me to my flat. To have someone who could take you to good, local marriage agencies, show you the local markets, help you to get a telephone card or cell phone and how to use it, how and where to exchange money, to arrange to have someone to be able to greet your lady friend with flowers at the airport, train station or bus terminal and escort her to your flat, to have an interpreter, guide or driver you could call and have available with 15 minutes notice. In the many cities of the FSU where we offer our support, these needs and many others are met.
